"I was extremely lucky today. I walked away from a very serious car accident with only minor injuries. Just some bad bruising, a very stiff neck, and some cuts and scrapes. Thank you everyone for your kind words, your thoughts, and your prayers. Remember to let your loved ones know very often just how much you love them".

Later on he tweeted: "As you can see by the tracks, I ran off the road, up the rock wall and then "cartwheeled" a number of times", and shared that "some people are lucky enough to get a second chance at life after a near death experience. This is my 3rd chance. Feeling very lucky".
